The 2010 Setanta Sports Cup Final will be contested by Dublin’s St. Patrick’s Athletic and Bohemian FC on Saturday, 15th May 2010 at the Tallaght Stadium, kick-off: 6.30pm.
St. Patrick’s Athletic won the toss and have been designated as the home team for the all-island competition final.
A limited number of tickets for the Setanta Sports Cup final will be made available for sale prior to Friday’s (April 30th) Airtricity League games involving St. Patrick’s Athletic and Bohemian FC. Tickets will be on sale at Richmond Park as the Saints host Shamrock Rovers and at Dalymount Park where Bohemian FC will face UCD. Both games kick-off at 7.45pm.
Milo Corcoran, Chairman of the Setanta Sports Cup Organising Committee said, “This year’s Setanta Sports Cup final is without doubt the highlight of the domestic season to date, with two of Dublin’s top clubs renewing their rivalry in the final of this competition. I am sure that the supporters from both teams will come out in big numbers for what will be a memorable occasion for all involved. I am pleased that this year’s Setanta Sports Cup final will take place at the impressive Tallaght Stadium, which is a fitting venue to host the final of this prestigious competition,” he said.
