Four changes on Ulster Rugby team for Cardiff clash

Brian McLaughlin has made four personnel and three positional changes for Ulster’s important RaboDirect PRO12 clash with Cardiff on Friday (kick off 7.05pm).
Paddy Wallace, Tom Court and Chris Henry have been released from Ireland duty and they go straight into the starting XV along with Nigel Brady, who replaces Andi Kyriacou. Brady, Court and John Afoa form the front row, while Lewis Stevenson and Dan Tuohy continue their partnership at lock with captain Johann Muller still sidelined through injury.

Finlay remembered for ’79 demolition of Donegal

Former Monaghan GAA star Kieran Finlay, father of current Monaghan star, Paul Finlay will be remembered in the north west for the display he gave in the 1979 GAA Ulster final, when they defeated a fancied Donegal team.

He died yesterday after a long illness and was considered one of the fnest footballers of his generation. Read more
