Ulster GAA to launch free courses for volunteers

Ulster GAA will launch its ‘Volunteer Development Calendar – September 2010-2011’ in Pearse Ogs Social Club, Armagh on Wednesday 8th September at 7pm sharp.     Speaking ahead of the event Uachtarán Chomhairle Uladh (Ulster GAA President) Aogán Ó Fearghail stated,:

Changes to Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad

The Republic of Ireland Under-21s have been forced to make a number of changes to the squad ahead of Tuesday’s UEFA European Championship qualifier against Turkey.  But Killybegs man Seamie Coleman will pick up his 13th u-21 cap and is now one of the most experienced players at this level.

Donegal Ladies in All Ireland GAA Intermediate final

A powering Donegal second half display has earned the north west team a place in the TG4 All-Ireland Ladies intermediate football championship final. Top scorer Geraldine McLaughlin pulled out all the stops in the second half in a game played at Ballymahon. The 14-point success against Longford now sees a final pairing against Waterford on September 26th.
