Sligo Chairman meets with Taiwan ambassador

The Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council Councillor Gerry Murray has met the Taiwan Ambassador His Excellency David Lee at County Hall to discuss enterprise opportunities in County Sligo.
The meeting was attended by Mr Daniel LU, Managing Director of Taiwan firm G-Led Lighting, Deputy John Perry who coordinated arrangements for the visit, and County Manager Hubert Kearns.
The Cathaoirleach outlined Sligo’s many attractions to the potential investor. ‘It is a place of outstanding natural beauty, excellent educational facilities, highly skilled work-force and a rich cultural tradition.’
He said that Sligo is the key centre of economic growth in the northwest, and confirmed that Sligo County Council is committed to facilitating and supporting new enterprise opportunities for the region.
