*CONNAUGHT*  *N17/SLIGO* Extreme care is needed throughout Co. Sligo, especially on the N16 Sligo/Manorhamilton from Glencar to Blacklion (Cavan) and the Sligo-Ballintogher Rd. * All routes around Ballymote are very icy and extreme care is required on the N17 Sligo/Tubbercurry Rd at Achonry. * Gallows Hill in Sligo Town should be avoided. * Connaughton Rd and Carraroe R/A are treacherous. *LEITRIM* Very icy in Co. Leitrim, take care on the N4 through Carrick-on-Shannon. *GALWAY* In Clifden, The Hospital Rd is closed off Racecourse Hill, approx. 2km from the N59. * Treacherous on the Ballinasloe/Portumna Rd (R355). * Extremely poor conditions on The Leenane/Maam Cross Rd (R336). *ROSCOMMON* Snow and ice in Frenchpark Co.Roscommon.

*ULSTER* *MONAGHAN* A jack-knifed truck is still blocking the Carrickmacross/Shercock Rd (R178) about 3kms outside Carrickmacross. Avoid the area, roads are very icy. *DONEGAL* Conditions are very poor throughout the county, with Gardai advising drivers to avoid unnecessary journeys. * Ramelton Town on the Milford/Letterkenny Rd (R245) is impassable due to icy conditions. *CAVAN* Fresh snowfall and icy roads in Co. Cavan. *DERRY* Conditions are treacherous across the county. *ANTRIM* Roads are very bad in Belfast city, extreme are required.

*LEINSTER* *N9/KILKENNY* The northbound lane of the N9/Waterford/Kilkenny Rd has been closed just after J10 Knoctopher. Gardai are diverting northbound motorists at J10 Knocktopher. *LONGFORD* Extremely treacherous in Co.Longford. *OFFALY* Very icy road conditions around Tullamore in Co. Offaly especially on secondary routes and in sheltered areas. *MEATH* Very icy road conditions around Navan, Co. Meath. *WICKLOW* Black ice has been reported in Co Wicklow on the N11 Dublin/Wicklow Rd at The Tap. * Conditions are treacherous in parts on the N81 Blessington to Tallaght Rd. * Also treacherous on Kilgarron Hill in Enniskerry. * The Wicklow and Sally Gaps should be avoided.

*MUNSTER* *N20/CORK* The N20/Cork/Limerick Rd is closed until further notice by the graveyard in Charleville following a collision earlier this morning. A small diversion is in place. *N20* Keep in mind that works are taking place in Charleville and further south on the N20 in Buttevant until later today. Allow extra time on this route. *KERRY* Conor Pass is still closed. * Particularly treacherous in Ballaghbeama and Ballaghisheen. * Take care on roads in south Kerry, in particular Killarney and Tralee where there is fresh snowfall. *TRAVEL NEWS* *UK AIRPORTS* Weather warnings have been issued for the majority of the UK over the next few days.
