The Irish Heart Foundation would like to thank all those involved in the recent fundraising dance in St Brigid’s Community Centre, Ballintra where €3,500 was donated to the Foundation to support the fight against heart disease and stroke.

The dance was organised by Brian Curristan as a thank you for all the support he received during his time in hospital. The night drew in a massive crowd of almost 600 people.

Speaking at the presentation of the cheque, David Muldoon of the Irish Heart Foundation said, “We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Brian and all who helped to make the night such a success and to raise such an enormous amount of money. With continued support from events like this we can fight heart disease and stroke, through education, medical services, research, and after care, which will save lives. Every donation makes a big difference to what we are able to achieve and will help us to continue our work for years to come.”
