We just discovered this site and as my wife is from Donegal and we live abroad, I can only say that it is a great idea and what a wonderful way to keep in touch with our beautiful green isle.

    Thankyou very much

I had read the comment that Pauline Duffy submitted in reference to your article on the Donegal Rose, I must say I do not understand the disgust – actually find it quite amusing. I think it is great you mentioned the Donegal Rose as The Rose of Tralee is not as big as it was and everyone can make a typo, no one is perfect. Maybe I am missing something but I think the article was good.

Love the new look of the site keeps me updated on what is going on at home from California. Keep up the great work and I will tell all my Irish friends and American Irish friends to check it out.

  10. Pauline Duffy says:

I am outraged on your article regarding the Donegal rose. The Donegal rose picked is in fact my first cousin. I just want and need to point out that. Doireann’s father was in fact from ARDARA not Ardagh.
    Thank you
