Bye election writ to be moved
Sinn Féin Dáil leader Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin will tomorrow publish a
motion on the Dáil Order Paper on behalf of the Sinn Féin TDs which
calls for the writ to be moved for the holding of the by-election in
Donegal South West to fill the seat left vacant as a result of the
election of Pat the Cope Gallagher to the European Parliament.
Deputy Ó Caoláin will call on the Government, at the order of business
in the Dáil tomorrow, to allow time for the motion to be debated.
Deputy Ó Caoláin and Sinn Féin’s representative in Donegal South West
Senator Pearse Doherty will be available to the media at 10am tomorrow
at the Kildare Street entrance to Leinster House.
