Previews:
Rathmullen/ Milford v Bonagee United.
With all their rivals away on cup duty this weekend Rathmullen/ Milford will be hoping to take advantage, as they face bottom of the table Bonagee United. Rathmullen/ Milford are in the home straight of their season and will be looking for full points ahead of their potentially decisive home tie with Letterkenny Rovers. Bonagee on the other hand have struggled since Christmas and last Wednesday nights defeat against Rovers cut them adrift at the bottom. Eugene Mc Cafferty’s outfit however, are level on points with Rosses with 2 games in hand, but more importantly are 6 clear of Letterkenny and can’t afford any slip ups, if they are to finish the season ahead of the Cathedral town outfit.
Colm Breslin cup: Quarter- Final.
Ballybofey United v Gweedore Celtic.
Both these sides will see the competition as a welcome distraction as both sit in the bottom half of the table. Ballybofey come in to the game in much the better form, as they are still unbeaten in 2010, a remarkable feat considering they hadn’t won a game up until that point. Gweedore form has been in stark contrast, a steady if unspectacular first half of the season has stalled and they haven’t been able to kick on. The league game on this ground in January was a real goal fest with Ballybofey winning 7-6. A repeat would be a real treat but not for either manager.
