Enniskillen motorists lucky escape as tree hits car

The injured man was taken to the Erne Hospital in Enniskillen
An Enniskillen motorist saw part of a tree to crash onto his car yesterday as high winds battered the county, but he escaped without life threatening injuries.
The incident happened as the car was bbeen driven along the Castlecoole Road, at around 12.30pm yesterday afternoon.
It is reported that a large branch crashed into electricity cables and blocked the road leaving homes in the area without power foer a number of hours afterwards. Other parts of the county were also affected by the poor weather and there were electricity outages elsewhere as well.
The injured man was taken to the Erne Hospital.
