Fermanagh Catholic Church vandalised at Lisnaskea

POLICE in Fermanagh have condemned vandalism that was caused to a Catholic church at Lisnaskea, although it is not beleived to be sectarian linked.
A large statue was pushed from its stand and smashed on the floor of Holy Cross Church, Chapel Brae. The damage was discovered on Wednesday afternoon (12th).
Insp. Roy Robinson, the sector commander, said this was nothing short of desecration.
“Wanton damage to any church or holy place should be condemned by all. There is no place for this type of desecration in our community.
“We would like to hear from anyone who noticed unusual or suspicious activity in or around the church.”
