FERMANAGH’S JULIANNE MULLIN SCOOPS EUROMILLIONS PLUS PRIZE

Twenty-eight year old Julianne Mullin from Fermanagh had five hundred reasons to smile today when she collected a cheque for €500,000 at National Lottery offices – her prize from the EuroMillions Plus draw on Friday 6 January 2012.
Champagne flowed as Julianne celebrated the win with her boyfriend Dominic Leonard, her parents Seamus and Christine Mullin and her brother Brian Mullin. Julianne’s sister Eloise sent her good wishes from Fermanagh.
Delighted Julianne who is a Sales Representative for JG Kelly Supplies in Monaghan bought her lucky €6 Quick Pick ticket in McCaugheys, South Mall Shopping Centre in Monaghan Town on the day of the draw.
The regular EuroMillions player often buys tickets during her travels around the country as a sales rep but is delighted to have purchased her winning ticket so close to home.
Julianne discovered her good fortune when she asked the assistant in McCaugheys to check her ticket. Filled with excitement, Julianne returned to work to share the good news.
She had hoped to buy a new car this year but decided to take a month-long trip to Australia with Dominic instead. She’s thrilled that she can now afford to do both.
National Lottery good causes benefit from the sale of all National Lottery products, as approximately one third of all sales fund beneficiary projects around the country, as designated by Government.
Since the National Lottery was launched, over €3.6 billion has been raised for good causes. This level of funding has made a significant difference to communities, projects and individuals in the areas of Youth, Sports, Recreation & Amenities; Health & Welfare; Arts, Culture & National Heritage and the Irish Language.
