It was good news for Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo yesterday when €135,077 from the EuroMillions draw on Friday 6 August 2010 was collected by a winner from Co. Mayo.
 
The lucky woman, who wants her win to remain private, purchased her ticket in the Gem store in Bridge Street, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo. The ticket was a €6 Quick Pick selection. The lucky winner said that she was ‘thrilled and delighted to have won this super tax-free prize’ and that she would put the money in the bank while she made her plans.
 
National Lottery good causes benefit from the sale of all National Lottery games, including EuroMillions, with one third of all sales (approx) going to fund Beneficiary projects around the country, as designated by Government.
