The Exhibition Bundoran 2013

This is a community driven event supported by Bundoran Community Development Group, Bundoran Historical Society and Ballyshannon -Bundoran Photographic Club. The aim of the project is to provide a trip down memory lane for visitors to the town old and new.

The project also seeks to present how the town has changed in the last hundred or more years and to show the ways in which it has remained the same. As a tourist town Bundoran has had many visitors over the years and we thought it might be of interest to present the shared history of the local people, tourists old and new and of our émigrés in a photographic exhibition. The exhibition would allow people visually revisit the days of their youth, and to view periods in the town’s history that have particular meaning for them. Read more
